Hello, I'm Lisa

I'm so glad you're here

Hi, I’m Lisa a London-born photographer, storyteller, snack-fetcher, and chaos coordinator, also known as “Mum” to two wildly wonderful little ones who keep life loud, funny, and permanently covered in crumbs.

I’ve been photographing families professionally for over 7 years (and unofficially for longer — just ask my old hard drives). If there’s one thing I know, it’s this: the best photos happen when people feel at ease. That’s where I come in. I make it easy. No stress, no stiff poses, and definitely no forced smiles. Just connection, warmth, and a bit of fun. And yes, there will be music. Always. Whether it’s calm and quiet or a full-blown toddler dance party, music helps set the tone.

When you book with me, you’re not just getting a gallery of beautiful images. You’re getting a full, thoughtful experience. I help with wardrobe styling, location planning, session vibes, and even selecting artwork for your home. Whether we shoot in your living room, out in nature, or in one of the beautiful natural-light studios I love to work in, the goal is always the same: create something real, relaxed, and meaningful.

People often tell me how good I am with kids and how easy and even fun the session was. That’s what I want. I believe in play, not pressure. Sentimental, but never stuffy. If you're feeling nervous, that’s totally normal. If you're feeling grumpy or ready to bark at your kids... maybe take a snack break first.

I’m deeply relational and see moments others might miss. A well-loved toy catching the light. A quiet glance. A burst of laughter in the chaos. I look for the real, because that’s where the magic lives.

If you’re looking for joyful, honest photos and a photography experience that feels easy, connected, and fun from start to finish, we might be a perfect match.

Representation Matters — And So Does Care

As a Black woman and a photographer, I understand firsthand how important it is to feel seen—and beautifully represented—in your images. One of the reasons I care so deeply about working with families of color is because I am you. I know what it means to trust someone with your story, your skin tone, your family, your legacy.

I bring care, technical skill, and lived experience to how I photograph and edit all skin tones—making sure your images reflect the richness, beauty, and truth of who you are.

Whether you're Black, Brown, multiracial, or part of a beautifully blended family, you're safe here. You're celebrated here. And you're going to walk away with images that honor your people and your story—exactly as you are.
