What to Expect

From our first chat to the final frame on your wall, I’ll walk with you through every step of the experience. After I send and you complete your questionnaire,  we’ll start with a planning call where I help with styling (yes, outfit picking included!) to make sure your photos feel like you—timeless, polished, and full of heart.

All Family sessions are designed to capture the connection, laughter, and little in-between moments that make your family yours — with zero pressure to be perfect. From styling support to location planning and a session flow that feels more like hanging out than posing, I handle the details so you can show up, be present, and actually enjoy the experience. No stress. No chaos. Just beautiful, honest moments, thoughtfully preserved.

All packages begin at $589, with a $300 session fee that secures your spot and covers the personalized planning and prep that goes into your session.

As a parent, I get it—someone always needs a snack, someone else is over it already, and yet… somehow, it’s all perfect.

When I photograph families, I’m all about creating a space where you can just be yourselves. No forced smiles, no pressure.

We’ll play, explore, laugh, and maybe even get a little muddy. I’ll guide you with relaxed direction, so you can focus on connecting with each other. The result? Honest, joy-filled images that reflect the love you live every day.

Family Session FAQs

How much does a family photo session cost?

Your session fee is $300. It reserves your date and covers planning, styling help, the session itself and hand editing, and it includes a $130 credit towards your images. Photo packages start at $589, and every package includes prints as well as digital images.


Are you a Black family photographer in Atlanta?

Yes. I'm a Black, London-born photographer based in Gwinnett County. Photographing families of color with care, and editing every skin tone so it looks true to life, is at the heart of what I do. Whether your family is Black, Brown, multiracial or beautifully blended, you're celebrated here.


Where do family sessions take place?

Anywhere that feels like you: your home, a favorite park, a field at golden hour, or a natural light studio. I'll suggest locations during our planning call, and there's no travel fee anywhere in metro Atlanta.


My kids won't sit still. Is that a problem?

Not at all; that's where the good stuff is. I don't do stiff poses. I use play and gentle prompts so everyone relaxes, and snack breaks are always allowed. As a mom of two, I've seen every kind of meltdown and it doesn't faze me.


What should we wear?

This is one of my favorite parts, and I'm very hands-on with it. Your Style Guide is just the start. I'll help you pick out pieces, send mock-ups with styling ideas, and walk you through pulling together a cohesive, beautiful look for the whole family. It complements your location and makes your photos look their best, with no last-minute outfit panic.


When will we see our photos?

Your gallery is ready 2–3 weeks after your session. We'll meet in person or on Zoom for your reveal, where you choose your favorites and decide how you'd like to print and display them.
